We collect standard web analytics: browser type, language, referring site, date/time, basic usage data.

Personally-identifying info

We collect only the minimum needed to operate HomeLifeSpan:

  • Email, password (encrypted)
  • Household names
  • Appliances, brands, models, serial numbers
  • Warranty details, expiry dates
  • Receipts you upload
  • Notes and metadata
  • Payment-related references from Stripe (never credit card numbers)

You may refuse to supply data, but some features may not work.

Aggregated Statistics

We may publish anonymized statistics (e.g., number of warranties added), never personal data.

How We Protect Your Data

We disclose personal data only to:

  1. Employees/contractors who need it to operate the service
  2. Third-party vendors such as Supabase, Stripe, email providers

We may disclose information required by law or to protect HomeLifeSpan or the public.

Cookies

We use cookies strictly for:

  • Anonymous analytics

No advertising cookies are used inside the application.

Business Transfers

If HomeLifeSpan is acquired, your data may transfer to the acquirer, who must honor this policy.

HomeLifeSpan is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's data.

Using HomeLifeSpan means you agree to the privacy terms of:

  • Stripe
  • Resend/Postmark
  • Analytics providers such as Plausible or PostHog

Retargeting

Retargeting is used only on the marketing site, never inside the application.
